Blessing-10/17/20: rise and shine! chasing daybreak – be watchful until the day dawns

Another wonderful morning chasing the sunrise with Irene, my early bird bestie! Woke up at 4:15am and better equipped this time just so we may catch the first light of the daybreak!

  • Cup Noodles ✅
  • Coffee ✅ (a must for the night owl, me😴)

The first light of dawn showed up around 6:25am, and it was amazing to see how the sky just gradually lights up after that. How much hope and joy a bright daybreak brings! “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) God has painted every sunrise uniquely because each day IS a brand new day!

While waiting for the sunrise, I was once again reminded that, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” (Hebrew 10:37) Yes, in just a little while, the bright morning star will shine, the sun will rise, the day will dawn. Our Lord, our King, will “shout the victory, break through the blue’, and He will come!

In just a little while….that golden daybreak will come. Be watchful!

In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber. like a champion rejoicing to run his course. (Psalm 19:5)
“until the next sunrise”

  1. MJ, lucky you have an early bird bestie for chasting the beatiful sunbreak with you. It’s touching to see how the Creator paints the sky with gold colors – that reminding me this wonderful Lord value and brighten my new fresh day. Thank you for sharing!

  2. Happy to see those precious moments with sunrise! They were so beautiful! I believe you paid the price to watch it. Have to wake up early, stayed cold outside, and waited for awhile? In this heavenly journey, we need companions and we need patient and of course we need God. It’s worth for the wait. A gorgeous sunrise! “I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.” ‭Psalms‬ ‭130:6‬ ‭ Yes, the glorious Lord will come soon. May we be alert and pray. “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Matthew 24:42
