Blessings – 11/19/20: Give thanks for the Colors of Fall

11/19/20 – Took a stroll around the neighborhood and found myself indulged in the colors of Fall. Despite of what the world is going through in 2020, Fall didn’t fail to make its grand entry, and God still sends these beautiful colors, every year.

As we enter the 8th month of the pandemic and anticipating the arrival of Thanksgiving, things seem to be not getting much better, but worse. We don’t know how we’ll celebrate Thanksgiving yet, but we know it will be very different from the past. With so much unknowns still up in the air, it is important for us to guard our hearts with the peace from Christ that surpasses all understanding, and to keep a grateful heart. The virus may cancel Thanksgiving travel, gatherings and feasts, but it cannot stop a grateful heart from giving thanks!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

2020 may not have been a pleasant year, but if we look around and pay attention to the little things, we would still find God’s gracious finger prints all over them. So go out and look around, and start finding treasure with a grateful heart! God never fails to show His presence and love. When the colors of Fall take away your breath, remain in awe, and give thanks to the One who sends them, and tells you how much He cares for you and loves you! ❤

Seasons change, but God stays the same. Give thanks in this special season, special year.

  1. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever” – 1Chronicles 16:34
God is great, God is good and God is always good to us. Let’s give thanks!
