If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

Have you ever been to a place so beautiful that you wish your loved ones were there with you? If you have, you have had a glimpse of how Jesus is feeling right now. He is in heaven, the best place one can be in, and He desires us to be there with Him!
Hawaii is one of my favorite places. Its stunning beaches with turquoise water and fine sand, its gentle breeze, yummy food, and the aloha vibe brought us back to visit time after time. Our previous visits to the Aloha state were with my family of three, but on our recent trip, we went with my mother-in-law. It was my mother-in-law’s first time in Hawaii. Strolling on the streets and showing her our favorite spots to shop and eat, taking her to the best shaved ice place and the market to get fresh sushi was a lot of fun! Seeing her enjoying everything we showed her and every place we took her added another level of contentment to my heart.
How much more wonderful it would be on that day when Jesus holds my hand and shows me my new and eternal home that He is preparing for me right now! My heart will be fulfilled, and the Lord’s will also be delighted. I heard the pure gold streets, jasper walls, and pearl gates are also famous in the city. I cannot wait to check those out with the Lord! It is a place where our eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and hearts have not imagined. But we know it’s a place where the LORD is there. And a place where He promised He would take us. And that is also where we genuinely want our loved ones to be!
Wherever He is, He wants us to be there with Him. And until that day, wherever we are, He is there also. 💕
