God is Generous (“God is the Provider” Devotional)

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

He is generous
+
He is rich
+
He is wise
+
He is loving
+
He is all-knowing
+
He is faithful
=
We are overflowing with all the good gifts from above.

Not only God is our provider, he’s also a generous giver. He blesses us with His lavish love and satisfies us with good gifts. The best part is He doesn’t do it based on our performance but out of His glory, which is His nature of being a generous giver.

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Psalm 34:10

I encourage you to go before the Lord with your unfulfilled needs. Ask and it shall be given to you. I also encourage you to trust God. Give thanks for your “have’s” and “have-not’s”. He knows best what to give you and when.

Prayer:

Father, thank you for your overflowing blessings in all my life. I’m satisfied and I trust that you have given me and will continue to give me the best. Teach me to be thankful and teach me to be generous like You. Amen.
