For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
God is our provider!
God wants us to prosper with peace. He gives us hope and a bright future. He PLANNED it all out before we were even born. He formed us and knew us when we were still in our mother’s womb.
Just as how parents anticipant and imagine the wonderful life of their newborn child, God expects no less for us. To fulfill the plan He has for us, he’s even willing to give up His own Son. Let’s not take God’s plan for us lightly.
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Psalm 33:11
God’s plan for us is our life purpose. Psalm 33 tells us His plans stand firm forever. As we go through life, we are to discover God’s purpose for us as if we are opening the gifts from God. The satisfaction of finding the “IT” is heavenly. I’m sure you all have experienced that to some degree.
I encourage you to take moment to
1) Reflect on What God has in store for you.
2) Ask yourself if there’s anything keeping you from trusting God’s plan. (Maybe you have our own?)
3) Humbly ask God to reveal His plan in your life.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for Your wonderful plan in my life. I trust that whatever purpose You have for me, You will also provide for it. Please open my eyes to see it and give me the heart to follow it. Amen.
