20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
In the Sunday sermon, we read about DNTG (Draw Near To God) and DNTY (Draw Near To you) on James 4:8. What does God really want from us? We love to DNTG, God loves to DNTY. Therefore, He tells us directly what He will do. If you are still not convinced, Rev 3:20,21 tells us again what the Lord wants. He wants to come in and eat with you! He treasures the relationship and repeats saying that
“I eat with him and he with Me!
Would you make a lifetime determination to DNTG just as when you have decided to accept Christ? Would you decide to DNTG often? Please do not let our beloved Lord wait outside! We may face the challenge of giving up something, but he who overcomes conquers. The Lord really wants us to sit with Him on His throne as He sat at the Father’s throne. Again, He tells us plainly how much He wants us to be with Him!
